Happy New Years!

Happy New Years to everyone!!  I promise you this next year is going to hold all sorts of great surprises and lots of challenges!!  This will be my first full year back as a wedding photographer and I have a feeling that it is going to be a fantastic year.  I have added lots of new equipment, lights, backdrops you name it!  It is definitely going to be a busy year.  This is the season of calm before the excitement of the wedding season, and senior photos kicks in.  So catch your breath because here we go!!!

Perfect Fall Day

It was a perfect day for a fall photo shoot.  The sun was shining, the light was perfect and with a light jacket a nice walk was in order!  I love fall days just like today!

A Busy Season

Fall, one of my favorite seasons!  A time for reflection and planning for the upcoming year.  A time of harvest and a time of planting.  As the leaves turn from their luscious green color to their fiery reds, deep purples, bright oranges and yellows we know that summer has once again come to an end.  The cold crisp air arrives and then soon enough turns into the cold blustery winter winds that makes all of us want to stay indoors and hibernate!  In my opinion fall is one of the best times of the year for a family picture.  The scent of leaves burning in the air, cozy warm sweaters, and the colorful fall foilage all add up to memories that are not soon forgotten.  

Please take some time for reflection during this fall season, and to catch your breath as it won't be long before the stress of the Christmas season will be fast approaching.  Take time for a leisurely stroll, a cup of coffee or hot chocolate on the front porch, a chat with a neighbor you haven't seen in awhile.  Memories in the making.  Memories you can one day look back upon and be glad you took the time to make them.

My first meeting with Alexsus!

The weather had not been cooperating with a planned photo shoot I had scheduled with Alexsus, the newly arrived daughter of Melissa and Jason Beadles!  So we decided to schedule an indoor shoot until the outside weather conditions were favorable for us to meet up again.  Alexsus is such a beatiful baby!  She loved the set we initially started with which had bats hanging over her like they were flying!  Her personality became evident very quickly.  She was inquisitive, observant and she definitely knew where her Mommy was at all times!  She was a hard working model for sure but she did have to take some time out for a bottle break!  Soon I will be seeing her again and we will try for some outside shots!  I look forward to seeing you Alexsus for you have already captured my heart!

Photo Shoot With the Beadles Family

I am looking forward to my photo shoot Sunday with Jason, Melissa and their new baby Alexsus Marie!  Jason and Melissa have family and friends in far away places so we are planning on a website for them, as well as posting photos on my website and online proofing for Jason and Melissa's photo shoot!  I will be adding some video too on my blog of  the baby so everyone can be properly introduced to Alexsus Marie!  We are doing an outside shoot and the weather is scheduled to be perfect.  So the new parents and baby Alexsus in tow will create some memorable art for themelves, family and friends!
